An unusual development made during World War II, the Fest submachine gun was a remotely-controlled weapon designed to cover coastal fortifications on the West Wall. Internally it used the action of the MP-28.II. It was marked "FMP-1". Very few of these submachine guns were ever produced and the manufacturer is unknown.
