Kotlas automatic carbine
A few years after the development of the
Netsch self-loading carbine in 1919, another Czechoslovakian automatic
carbine appeared. This was designed by Maj. Kotlas in 1922 and was tested
by the Czech Army, but not adopted. Although reportedly not a submachine
gun, it had the characteristics of an SMG-type weapon and was chambered in
a pistol caliber.
