Nambu 8mm Model 1

NAMBU

The Japanese 8mm Nambu submachine gun was sent to England in 1938 and briefly investigated as a possible weapon for British tank crews. The fire rate was about 500 rounds per minute and it had a large, curved magazine that held 50 rounds but was almost 11 inches deep. It was promptly rejected by the Small Arms Committee.
