The MCEM-5 was the fifth "Military Carbine, Experimental Model" to be created by the Design Department at Enfield. Since very few records surrounding the MCEM-5 have survived or been disclosed, any details surrounding the MCEM-5 are currently unknown. It has been referenced to as the "Sparc" submachine gun and the designer was probably Polish. Regardless, nothing ever became of the MCEM-5 and it has been almost completely forgotten. No images or sketches have survived.
